Now that all results are in, the high achievers and medal winners for 2024 ICAS Assessments have been confirmed. We are pleased to announce that students sitting their assessments at Focus have collectively achieved:

  • 5 Medals
  • 50 High Distinctions
  • 157 Distinctions

Entering international competitions like ICAS Assessments can be challenging. We’re proud of all of the students who sat ICAS in 2024. In addition to celebrating their achievements, we also urge you to notice how your child is developing their knowledge and skill levels each and every year. Every improvement is a sign that your child is working their way towards a great outcome.

Profiling medal winners

Some of our high achievers were happy for us to share their individual achievements. To earn an ICAS medal, a student must gain the highest score in their year level for their region. Medal-winners received stunning medals wrapped in a range of colours, along with other goodies.

Alvin

Alvin achieved the highest score in Year 5 Science for our region. Well done, Alvin!

Jessie

Jessie achieved the highest score in Year 6 Spelling Bee for our region. Excellent job, Jessie!

Ethan

Ethan earned two medals this year. He achieved the highest scores in Year 3 for both Science and Digital Technologies in our region. Congratulations on an excellent result, Ethan!

Final note

If your child sat the ICAS Assessments in 2024, we congratulate them on their hard work. Remember that aside from high scores, a key reason to sit ICAS Assessments is to receive the detailed results across key areas of each subject. This is valuable information to guide future efforts and to reassure parents and teachers that your child is on the right track in their educational journey.
