Why ICAS?

Designed by experts to be fun, challenging, and test higher-order thinking and problem solving, ICAS assessments are offered across 6 literacy and STEM subjects for school years 3-13.

Detailed feedback

ICAS assessments provide detailed feedback on your child’s knowledge and skills in the subject, allowing you and your child’s teachers to focus on the areas your child needs help most.

You can also see how your child’s knowledge and skills compare to their peers in your region.

Recognition of Achievements

ICAS rewards participation and achievements with official certificates. The top 1% of participants receive a special High Distinction and the top student in each region receives a prestigious medal.

Prepare for ICAS

Once you have registered for ICAS, please make sure your child has a device that meets the ICAS technical requirements.

Students sitting Writing or Spelling Bee must also have the latest version of locked-down browser Janison Replay installed on their device.
