If your child is sitting ICAS with us at one of our testing locations in Auckland or Christchurch, you will need to make sure your child has a suitable device to use. Here are some key tips:
- Make sure your child has a device that meets the ICAS technical requirements. The iPad mini is not supported, and we do not recommend using a tablet or iPad for ICAS Writing.
- For ICAS Writing and Spelling Bee, install the latest version of locked-down browser Janison Replay. Please uninstall any previous version, then download and install the updated version.
- Make sure your child is familiar with how to use the device, including turning it on and off, connecting to WiFi, opening a browser, and typing in a website location.
If you have completed these tips, your child will have a much more successful experience with ICAS!
